I came here after passing by the restaurant many times and wondering what the Chinese food was like. I ordered the Ma Po Tofu without the customary pork meat included in it, some plain rice, and veggie spring rolls. Ma Po Tofu without meat is probably my favourite Chinese dish, or in the top three, and this place prepared it really well. It was like I had ordered it in back in China.

There isn't much I can say about the veggie spring rolls or the plain rice I ordered. They were standard items that anyplace could offer. The Ma Po Tofu had the really soft type of tofu that almost melts in your mouth. It was great - very different from the kind of tofu we get in the grocery store.

Ma Po Tofu is a spicy dish - so have some cold liquids close.

While wanting to eat vegetarian food I spotted their sign saying they had dim sum and thought I would try it out. Located on Waterloo street just south of Dundas in an old house the place is a little dark and shabby with a few tables with banquette seating. While the dim sum menu was a little spartan I spotted one of my favourite dishes, Kung Pao shrimp and decided to try that with their green onion pancakes. The service was fast and polite and while the food was not the best Chinese food I have ever had it was good compared to most Chinese places serving western styled chicken balls etc.,

I came here to get away from the standard pub, tavern, or sports bar. Glad I did so. The menu has a good variety to choose from. I had the Kung Pow Chicken, and the portion was just right for me. Spicy enough to please everyone. I plan to come back again and explore more of the menu.

The food was very oily and salty, the chicken didn't taste like chicken, the owners were very rude and laugh at your face. Enough said, try this place at your own risk!

It's a nice place and not pricy. Hot pot is really good. I definitely will come often
